Accessibility Statement

Overview
TheLivingWellPhysio.com is committed to making our website, telehealth platform, digital courses, and downloadable materials accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide a usable and inclusive experience for all users worldwide and continually improve accessibility across our services.
Standards and Scope
We design and maintain our digital services with reference to recognized accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 Level AA and applicable local accessibility requirements where feasible. This statement covers the website, patient portals, telehealth interfaces, mobile-responsive pages, downloadable PDFs, and on-demand video content.
Measures Taken
-
Design and Development We apply semantic HTML, ARIA roles where appropriate, clear heading structure, keyboard navigability, and sufficient color contrast to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
-
Media Accessibility We provide captions for prerecorded videos and text transcripts for audio content where possible. Alternative text descriptions are added for meaningful images.
-
Forms and Interactions Online intake forms and booking flows follow best practices for label usage, error messaging, and focus order to support keyboard and screen-reader users.
-
Testing and Validation We perform automated scans and manual testing with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and color-contrast tools. Accessibility is included in our QA checklist for releases.
-
Staff Training and Governance Team members receive accessibility awareness training and our content creators follow plain-language and inclusive-design guidelines.
Known Limitations and Workarounds
-
Some legacy documents and third-party widgets may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively reviewing and remediating such items.
-
Interactive content or embedded third-party tools may present limitations with certain assistive technologies. Where a third-party element is inaccessible we will offer an alternative method to access equivalent information or service.
-
If you encounter content that is difficult to access we will provide reasonable accommodations such as text-only versions, assisted booking, or clinician-guided alternatives upon request.
Feedback Reporting and Requests for Assistance
If you experience barriers or need assistance accessing content, please contact us by email at thelivingwellphysio@gmail.com. When reporting an issue please include: the web page URL, a description of the problem, the device and browser you used, and any assistive technology involved. We will acknowledge receipt and aim to respond with a workaround or resolution promptly.
Updates to This Statement
We review and update this Accessibility Statement periodically to reflect improvements in technology, changes to our services, and user feedback. The version posted on the website with the Effective Date is the current statement.
